The architecture provides the configuration plan and the quality assurance. This is either done for the company by their product development organisation or developed by the responsible parties in response to a customer’s desire or request for a solution to some problem operation or concern. All the activities and tasks to produce this product are determined so that cost and budgets can be estimated and determined to justify the production and to show that a profit can be made from the proposed venture.
