The cave ceiling overhangs the entire ledge area. The northernmost pair of the six columns supporting the outer arch are caryatid columns—magical, golem-like stone guardians who defend the entrance to the crypt against intruders. If these columns are studied closely, the features of feminine warriors armed with swords can been seen. The stones are colored red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. When activated by an unauthorized attempt to enter the crypts, the two columns condense and flesh out into 5½ foot tall women warriors armed with steel swords.
